There is no veneration of saints, but images of saints are employed in the church decoration. In the post-1920 period new churches were built, but only a few portraits appropriate, particularly representations of Christ, and occasionally pictures of Jan Hus.

The chalice is the symbol of Hussite movement (the epipthet "hussite" was added in 1971), which extended the reception of communion under both kinds to the ordinary people.

The Czechoslovak Hussite Church administers the seven sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance, Marriage, Clergy Ordination, Anointing of the Sick).
